One easy and affordable way to maintain or modify a pipeline without draining is to use pipe freeze plug technology. By freezing the substance inside the pipe, pipe freeze plug technology creates one or more solid ice pipe freeze plugs, isolating the problematic section of the pipeline.
This eliminates the need to bleed troublesome air out of pipes during refills, minimises drain-down or refill time, and frequently eliminates system downtime.
We melt the freeze plugs and get back to work after finishing the pipe work. Standard pipe freeze plugs, which come in sizes ranging from 1/2″ to 36″ outer diameter (OD), can be used with the majority of fluids. Pipe freeze plugs are made to withstand line pressures of up to 3,000 PSI and are continuously monitored.
